As many of you are aware, our 50th Anniversary is rapidly approaching and we will be hosting a big celebration in August 2012! Before we can go much further with our planning for the celebration activities we need to come up with a name.
Our 40th Anniversary was called ‘Jabulani’ which is a Zulu word meaning ‘rejoice’. We were thinking of a Swahili name for the 50th celebrations. Why Swahili? Well, Swahili is one of the most spoken languages on the African continent.
Please put your thinking caps on! And don’t feel limited to Swahili… if you have any ideas, send them our way!
Please email your ideas to Hloni Letuka on firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call him on +27 (0) 33 347 1911. Closing date for submissions is Friday 11 November. We look forward to hearing from you!
